Online Marketplace Launching soon.
One of the first projects and startups I am personally investing in, with dedicating my allowance and holiday money, is to help kids at an orphanage in Tijuana build an online store to support their home, programs, and to connect them with mentors and organizations that will teach them entrepreneurship and life skills. This orphanage is called “ EUNIME ”. I will help manage the online store, so that they can sell locally sourced products, items unique to Tijuana, and created by the kids that live at EUNIME.
I invested in this project to help the kids at EUNIME who want to learn how to help themselves and to contribute towards building a bigger facility that can provide housing and a clinic to help more kids who are at risk and have HIV/AIDS. My investment so far will help build an online store and marketplace for the those kids wanting to participate, so that they can sell products on behalf of the orphanage they live in. I have also bought colored sweaters, t-shirts, and supplies needed to design and make prototypes for selected and EUNIME branded merchandise. They will learn how to manage the platform and build on it. Outside of building a bigger facility, the long term goal for this project is to help maturing kids become independent and transition out of the orphanage.
Help me help EUNIME.

You can also support Project EUNIME by purchasing an amazing t-shirt! I need to sell 150 t-shirts to profit $2,799.50 of which 100% of profits will go towards helping the kids at EUNIME.
I have attended Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles since I was three and half years old and can read, write and speak French fluently. Over the years I have collected a lot of French reading materials, including official French school books. I want to put them to good use and give them to French speaking kids that don't have reading materials or access to computers.
For this project I choose to reach out to Ifaty Public Primary in Madagascar. The official languages of Madagascar are Malagasy and French. The school is located in a poverty stricken community and is also supported by UNICEF. I learned that they need more school supplies and reading materials. (photo credit UNICEF)
The reason I choose to help this school is because I have been wanting to go to Madagascar since I was eight years old. I once read about Madagascar in a book about animals and nature and since then I have been obsessed. I also love the animated movie Madagascar. I plan on going with my mom and dad on an outreach trip next year. It would be cool to visit a school and meet kids that I help too.
With "Read to Lead" in mind, I also know that less than a fifth of the population speak French in Madagascar, which means that it will be hard for kids when they are older get jobs outside of Madagascar or engage with the international community. I hope that helping kids learn to read French at Ifaty Primary School will help them later on in life.
I am also working with a logistics company to assist with shipping the items for free. They are heavy! In addition to sending books, I am also contributing to purchasing much needed supplies, computers and books locally in Madagascar.
